Hello beautiful people! It’s been a totally lazy week so far and I have been stalling on writing this post but finally it’s here.
Another fashion isn’t so stressful post! I know, but this time it’s for the curvy girl.
Plus size simply refers to those that are plump/ on the big body side. Fashion for them can look terrible If not properly handled because it is very easy to go wrong when you are plus size because not everything works for you body But Don’t panic, I am here to help and show you how to make most of your outfits and literally slay everytime you step out.
First of all there are two things you must know.
- Know your body
- Accentuate your curves
KNOW YOUR BODY: You have to know your body type/shape, this goes a long way to help you determine what is suitable for your body or not. Get acquainted with your body so you know your best assets.
ACCENTUATE YOUR CURVES: one of the benefits of being plus size is that you have all your curves in the right places. You have to learn to always show them off(afterall what do you have them for?).
ACCESSORIES GO A LONG WAY: the right accessories will divert attention from your “wrong” areas. So always learn to accessorise; wear a waist belt, carry a statement bag or go big with necklaces and earrings.
COLOUR YOURSELF “PRETTY”: learn to incorporate colours into your outfits. You can add a touch of colour with a scarf, belt etc or you can go all out and wear colourful dresses. Colourful outfits enhances your beauty and hence makes your curves distinct.
Nude colours also work perfectly
WAIST TRAIN TO PERFECTION: The best way to accentuate your waist is to make them appear smaller and the best way to achieve this is to learn how to wear outfits that gives your waist that “slim” look. Waist trainers are currently trending and they are affordable.
Other ways includes using a belt, wearing high waist jeans etc. Click here to see different denims for your body type.
