SIX MONTHS BLOG ANNIVERSARY x BLOGGING BUCKET LIST CHALLENGE
Super excited that I have come this far. It might not be anything to you but i am commitment-phobic and I know how I struggled not to let go especially when I began to realise that blogging is a lot of WORK.
As far back as the year 2012 I have always wanted a blog and it wasn’t until 2017 I got one. I have created about two blogs previously and didn’t put up any content because the whole blogging thing was so confusing.
I started this blog on the 15th of may, 2017 and my first post wasn’t an introduction post simply because i didn’t want an introduction. oh i was so shy, I didn’t want anyone who knew me in real life to find out I had a blog. My secret lasted only a week before my mum asked me what my blog was about, how she knew I still don’t know.
Clocking 6 months was a really big deal for me. A premium blog theme, professional blog photo shoot and a media kit were things I planned on doing because I felt I had crossed the baby blogger stage and needed to up my craft. However, on second thoughts I felt I was probably jumping the gun and decided to leave all that until the blog clocks 1 year.
My blogging bucket list
Who says you can’t make a bucket list for your blog?. For those who don’t know, a bucket list is a number of things you wish to accomplish during your lifetime. I have things that i want to achieve within the next six months on my blog and so I thought about creating a blogging bucket list challenge.
This challenge is really easy-peasy! All you have to do is share your blogging goals for the next 6 months.
MY BLOGGING BUCKET LIST
- Hit 70,000 blog views
- Make my first 200 thousand Naira on the blog
- Get to work with more brands
- Collaborate with more bloggers
- Contribute for more sites just like TBP
- Hit 3000 email subscribers
- Get mentions in top blogs
- A blog award nomination
- Get a premium theme specifically the maker theme or Equinox theme from pipdig
- Get Google Ad sense approval
In six months time, I hope to look back to this post and feel accomplished because i have checked more than 6 things on this blogging bucket list challenge.

My! What a milestone, you sure have come a long way and accomplished so much in just 6 months! So we didn’t get an introduction post, how about a get to know me post? (you still can’t be so shy naw, Lol).
On the challenge, I can’t wait to write and share mine as i see it as not just a challenge but also blog goals.
On the giveaway, i would like to win the brush set for my sisters (they are twins). On the the week of returning back to school after the ASUU strike they lost their make up brushes after putting it outside to dry. It really did hurt them as they had to use mine for a while and went back to school without replacing it. If i win the kabuki brush set, it wouldn’t just be the best holiday gift but would make them really happy. I can imagine their faces breaking into a beautiful smile on they hearing it’s theirs for keeping.

So I’d really like the Kabuki brush set because it’d help add to my little makeup collection. The importance of the right brushes for makeup application can not be overemphasized and it is a very bad habit of mine to apply makeup with my hands as I have no brushes to use. So the brushes will really help me slay harrrrd in Bobrisky’s voice. Thank you!

I won’t say I know the exact date you started blogging but 6months is a big deal! I thought everything was a joke when you were always talking about being serious with your blog but recently, your passion for it has intensified.
